Get Paid To sites promote incentivized affiliate offers. This means that when a visitor completes an offer, he earns some sort of bonus from the webmaster for having completed the offer. Typically, this means that if there is an offer that pays out $65, the webmaster shares those proceeds with the person who completed the offer - for example $15 dollars (which leaves $50 profit for the webmaster!). These payments are normally sent via PayPal or by check, and there is usually a 30-day wait period to ensure the offer is completed, no refunds have been requested, no fraud involved, etc.

There are more complex setups with bonuses paid for referrals, those referrals being required to complete a set number of offers and also recruiting referrals. But if you're just getting started with a GPT site, it is recommended that you stick with basic incentives. Not all affiliate offers can be incentivized, please check with your affiliate manager for permission. Networks that allow this will sometimes help you setup your website, again, be sure to inquire with your AM.
